Connect the connecting cord (DK-215)

Note

• When you use the camcorder on the battery pack, 

disconnect the connecting cord (DK-215) from the 
DC IN jack. Otherwise, no power is supplied from 
the battery pack.

Charging the battery pack 
attached to the camcorder

Attach the battery (p. 16).

Connect the AC Adaptor/charger to 
the camcorder (p. 18).

Set the mode switch to VCR/
CAMERA.

4

Set the POWER switch to OFF (CHG).

The CHG (charge) lamp lights up and 
charging starts.
When the battery is fully charged, the CHG 
lamp goes out.
Disconnect the connecting cord (DK-215) 
from the DC IN jack of the camcorder.

Charging time

Approximate number of minutes required when 
you fully charge a fully discharged battery pack 
at 25°C (77°F). (10 – 30°C (50 – 86°F) 
recommended.)
