2-3-1. Setup Tool Descriptions
Button descriptions
1. Get Setup button
Downloads the setup.conf file from FM. A file with the
same name stored locally will be automatically overwrit-
ten. After the file is downloaded, Tool reads the file and
expands the setup values.
2. Put Setup button
When the “Put Setup” button is clicked, the following
processes take place:
1.
Locally saves the setup values expanded on Tool as
setup.conf. A file with the same name stored locally
will be automatically overwritten.
2.
Displays the setup value confirmation screen.
3.
Uploads the setup.conf file to FM when the “Update”
button is clicked on the confirmation screen.
4.
Displays the message asking you whether or not to
reboot FM for activating the setup.
5.
Reboots FM when the “OK” button is clicked.
3. Dynamic Setup button
Dynamically performs setup on specific items expanded on
Tool.
When a desired item in Basic Setup and a desired setup
item in the list view of Detail Setup are clicked and then
the “Dynamic Setup” button is clicked, only the corre-
sponding setup value is reflected to FM.
Note that the items for which Dynamic Setup takes effect
are limited. Dynamic Setup is displayed as active only
when the applicable items are clicked.
When FM is not running, an error occurs for the connec-
tion requirement from Tool, and the Connection Error
message appears.
4. Exit button
Closes Tool.
