Connecting the NSR-1200/1100/1050H to the 
NSRE-S200

Connecting two NSRE-S200 units

Caution

• Do not use an NSRE-S200 in conjunction with iSCSI 

storage.

• Be sure to connect the mini-SAS cables securely, so 

they will not disconnect. If a mini-SAS cable 
disconnects during unit operation, recording errors 
may occur. Always turn off the units before 
connecting or disconnecting the mini-SAS cables.

Connecting Other Devices

Connecting Sensor Inputs and Alarm 
Outputs

Connect the wires to the sensor input connector and the 
alarm output connector.
For details, see “I/O Port” (page 38).

Connecting an Uninterruptible Power 
Supply (UPS)

Connect the UPS to the power outlet.

Connect the NSR to the UPS with the supplied 
power cord.

Connect the NSR to the UPS with the dedicated serial 
cable to the serial connector on the rear of the NSR.

Connecting an Audio Output Device

Connect the audio output device to the audio output 
connectors (L and R).
