2-2-4. MPU-137 Board
Removal
1. Remove the upper chassis. (Refer to Section 2-1-1.)
2. Remove the DEC-158 board.
(Refer to steps 2 to 5 in Section 2-2-1.)
3. Remove the fan bracket.
(Refer to step 4 in Section 2-1-2.)
4. Remove the HDD unit.
(Refer to steps 2 to 4 in Section 2-1-3.)
5. Remove the IF-978 board.
(Refer to steps 4 to 6 in Section 2-2-2.)
6. Disconnect the flexible card board and harness from
the connectors (CN1801, CN1901) on the MPU-137
board.
7. Remove the two screws and four supports (B), and
then remove the MPU-137 board.
2-2-3. LED-432 Board
Removal
1. Remove the upper chassis. (Refer to Section 2-1-1.)
2. Remove the two screws, and remove the light intercep-
tion plate.
3. Remove the screw, and remove the nylon clip.
4. Remove the screw, and pull out the LED-432 board in
the direction of the arrow.
5. Disconnect the harness from the connector CN1 on the
LED-432 board.
Installation
6. Reinstall the LED-432 board in the reverse order of
steps 2 to 5.
7. Reattach the upper chassis. (Refer to Section 2-1-1.)
