To record a VIDEO CD/CD/MP3 by
specifying track order
You can record only your favorite tracks using
Program Play. Between steps 4 and 5, perform
steps 2 to 6 of “Creating your own program”
(page 20).
Notes
• CD Synchro Recording is not available with DVDs
and JPEG files.
• You cannot listen to other sources while recording.
• When you press CD SYNC in step 5, the surround
effect may automatically change (see “Selecting the
surround effect” on page 45).
• If the play mode is set to Repeat Play or Shuffle Play,
it automatically switches to Normal Play in step 5.
• When you record from a VIDEO CD, playback with
PBC functions is automatically canceled.
Tip
If you select both sides recording and the tape reaches
the end of the front side part-way through a track, the
entire track is recorded again from the beginning of the
reverse side.
You can record just the portions you like from a
disc (DVD, VIDEO CD, CD, MP3), tape or
radio program on a tape.
You can also record from connected
components (see “Hooking up optional
components” on page 56).
Use buttons on the unit for the operation.

video game machine to GAME INPUT
AUDIO L/R jacks.
• VIDEO/SAT: To record from the
connected optional component to
VIDEO/SAT IN L/R jacks.
