9. Auto white balance adjustment

This adjustment corrects the output data of auto white balance. If
disordered, the colors will not be reproduced correctly in the auto
white balance mode.

Adjustment procedure:
1)

Put the color temperature compensating filter C14 on the lens.

2)

Set data: 01 to page: 0, address: 01.

3)

Set data: 58 to page: 2, address: 10, and press the PAUSE button
on the adjustment remote commander.

4)

Turn off the HOLD switch on the adjustment remote
commander.

5)

After more than 2 seconds, turn on the the HOLD switch on
the adjustment remote commander.

6)

Set data: 0A to page: E, address: 11, and press the PAUSE
button on the adjustment remote commander.

7)

Set data: 3F to page: 2, address: 01, and press the PAUSE button
on the adjustment remote commander.

8)

Set data: 04 to page: 0, address: 03.

9)

Change the data on page: F, address: D3 so that average value
of DDS displayed data (Note 2) satisfies the R ratio specification
value.

10) Press the PAUSE button on the adjustment remote commander.
11) Set data: 05 to page: 0, address: 03.
12) Change the data on page: F, address: D4 so that average value

of DDS displayed data satisfies the B ratio specification value.

13) Press the PAUSE button on the adjustment remote commander.

Processing after adjustment finished:
1)

Set data: 00 to page: 2, address: 01, and press the PAUSE button
on the adjustment remote commander.

2)

Set data: 00 to page: 0, address: 03.

3)

Set data: 00 to page: 2, address: 10, and press the PAUSE button
on the adjustment remote commander.

4)

Set data: 15 to page: E, address: 11, and press the PAUSE button
on the adjustment remote commander.

5)

Set data: 00 to page: 0, address: 01.

12) Put the ND filter 1.3 (1.0 + 0.3) on the lens.
13) Confirm that the DDS displayed data (Note 2) is lessthan “D0”.

Set data: 00 to page: 2, address: 01, and press the PAUSE button
on the adjustment remote commander.

Set data: 00 to page: 2, address: 56, and press the PAUSE button
