TIMER REC
You can make the timer recordings by just entering the program’s G-
CODE number listed in the TV program guide. The date, times and
program position of that program are set automatically. You can preset up
to six programs at a time.
Before you begin
•
Switch on the video TV.
•
Make sure that the clock is set correctly. If not, see “Setting the clock” on
page 17.
•
Make sure that the loaded cassette has its safety tab.

Press G-CODE.

Press the program number buttons to enter the program’s G-CODE
number.

Press ENTER.
The date, start and stop times and program position appears on the TV screen.
If the information is not correct, press TIMER CLEAR to cancel the setting.

Repeat steps 1 to 3 to enter other settings.

Press TIMER REC ON/OFF.
The TIMER REC lamp on the front of the video TV lights up and the video
TV enters timer recording standby mode.
To stop timer recording
Press TIMER REC ON/OFF.
Recording TV Programs Using G-CODE

If you make a mistake entering
the G-CODE number
Press TIMER CLEAR and re-enter
the correct number.
