Preparation for Wall
Mounting
This TV can be installed on a wall by using
the Wall-
Mount Bracket SU-WL100
(sold separately). Before
mounting the TV on a wall, the Stand Base must be
removed from the TV.
Note
Do not remove the Stand Base for any reason other than to
wall-mount the TV.
Follow the simple steps below to remove the Stand
Base:

Disconnect all the cables from the TV.

Cover a level and stable surface with a
thick and soft cloth.

Gently lay the TV, face down, onto the
cloth. Make sure the Stand Base is
hanging over the edge.

Rotate the cable holder 90 degrees, and
pull it out completely.

Detach the Stand Base from the TV.
1 Remove the two screws.
2 Hold the Stand Base firmly, and then press the
stopper to release the Stand Base from the TV.

Do not remove any other screws from the
TV.

After detaching the Stand Base, cover the
holes with the Hole Masks (supplied).
For bracket installation, refer to the instruction guide
provided by the Wall-Mount Bracket model for your
TV. Sufficient expertise is required in installing this
TV, especially to determine the strength of the wall for
withstanding the TV’s weight.
For product protection
and safety reasons, Sony strongly recommends that
you use the Wall-Mount Bracket model designed for
your TV and the wall-mounting of your TV should be
performed by Sony dealers or licensed contractors.
Note
Be sure to store the removed screws and Stand Base in a safe
place until you are ready to reattach the Stand Base. Keep the
screws away from small children.
