Overview
Two Ethernet connectors for two networks
Two Ethernet connectors are provided for one chassis of
the IXS-6600/6700, and a different IP address is assigned
to each of them, enabling redundancy of two networks.
Web settings (V2.0 or higher)
Settings for the primary station and secondary stations are
enabled from the Web browser.

Primary station: IXS-6600/IXS-6700 (V2.0 or higher)
Secondary Station: IXS-6600/IXS-6700 (V2.0 or higher),
HDS-X5800
(Applicable browser: Internet Explorer 6)

Equipped with two reference-signal systems
The IXS-6600/6700 is equipped with two reference
systems A and B for the video reference input, which can
be selected for each output block. For example, the house
sync of a broadcast station and a reference signal that has
a different phase/frequency from that of the house sync can
be used in a single chassis as the references for different
matrixes.
Supporting the word sync signal
The IXS-6700 is provided with two systems of the audio
word sync signal input, and the IXS-6600 is provided with
one.
Provided with three systems of the S-BUS control
The IXS-6700 is provided with independent three systems
and four channels (A, B1, B2, C) of the S-BUS connectors,
and the IXS-6600 is provided with independent three
systems and three channels (A, B, C) of the S-BUS
connectors. In each S-BUS control system, all routing
switchers and control units that are to be controlled are
connected using one coaxial cable.
Supporting BZR-IF830 (4093 × 4093) Control
Software
S-BUS space can be expanded up to 4093 × 4093, by
connecting the HKSP-R80 Routing Switcher Controller
for which BZR-IF830 has been installed to this unit
through the Ethernet and S-BUS data link. Within the
expanded S-BUS space, several S-BUS spaces can be
controlled.
IXS-6600/6700 System Products
Chassis
IXS-6700 Integrated Routing System
The size of the chassis of the IXS-6700 is EIA 8RU. The
maximum matrix size for a single-format signal is as
shown in the table below:
The unit essentially consists of four power units and two
control CPU boards, both having redundant structure.
The optional boards described later can be attached.
IXS-6600 Integrated Routing System
The size of the chassis of the IXS-6600 is EIA 4RU. The
maximum matrix size for a single-format signal is as
shown in the following table below:

Matrix boards (option)
IKS-6030M Matrix Board
This is a matrix board of 128 inputs × 68 outputs.
Up to two matrix boards can be attached to the IXS-6700,
with maximum expansion to 128 inputs × 136 outputs
possible. When this board is attached to the IXS-6600, the
matrix size becomes 64 inputs × 68 outputs.
When audio signals are handled, the maximum matrix size
becomes 256 inputs × 272 outputs for the IXS-6700 or 128
inputs × 136 outputs for the IXS-6600.
