Setups – Using Administrator Tool
This chapter describes how to set the functions of the
Wide area Object Detection system using Administrator
Tool.
Administrator Tool is used mainly by the system
administrator.
To start Administrator Tool, double-click the
WODs_Administrator
icon on the desktop.
Note
Starting Administrator Tool resets the system to the
default conditions. If you use Operator Tool after you
have used Administrator Tool, perform "shooting
parameter set" assignment.
Main Window
Starting Administrator Tool opens the main window.
This section describes the names and functions of each
part of the main window.
Image of panorama camera
Shows an image of the panorama camera.
Image of zoom camera/fixed camera 1/fixed
camera 2
Shows an image of the camera selected from the camera
select box.
Camera select box
Select the image of the camera to be displayed in the
right window.
Auto mode radio buttons
Select the auto mode of the zoom camera.
Select
Tour mode
to allow Priority area setting, or
Focus area mode
to allow Focus area setting.
Area setting section
Select the area you want to set. The setting items and
buttons required for the selected area setting appear in
the area setting section.
Non-detection area:
A non-detection area is an area
where the motion detection does not work.
For the non-detection area setting, see page 32.
Priority area:
A priority area is an area where priority
is given to activate the motion detection.
For the priority area setting, see page 33.
Focus area:
A focus area is an area to limit the zoom
camera shooting.
For the focus area setting, see page 35.
Mask area:
A mask area is an area to cover a portion of
the panorama camera image.
For the mask area setting, see page 34.
Apply button
Click to apply the specified non-detection areas and
priority area.
Close button
Click to exit Administrator Tool.
Menu Bar

Exit the application:
Exits Administrator Tool.

Display menu
Non-detection area display:
Click on this item to
show the checkmark to display non-detection areas
on the image of the panorama camera. Clear the
checkmark to turn off the non-detection areas.
Priority area display:
Click on this item to show
the checkmark to display the priority detection area
on the image of the panorama camera. Clear the
Menu bar
