Procedure
1. Remove the optical filter block. (Refer to “2-7-2. Optical Filter Block”.)
Tip
As a protective film is attached to a new optical filter, remove the film before starting the replacement
procedure of the optical filter block.
2. Clean the surface with dew condensation or dust.
How to use cleaning tools
• Blower
Visually check the contaminated area, and then blow dust and dirt.
• Cleaning stick (Part number: J-6082-726-A)
Visually check the contaminated area, and then gently push the adhesive part at the end of the
cleaning stick against the contaminated area so that dust and dirt adhere to the adhesive part to
remove them.
Note
Avoid rubbing the optical filter with the adhesive part at the end of the cleaning stick.
