4-3-1 Basic Operation of the
Setup Menus

Move the VF DISP switch from OFF to MENU.
The OPERATION menu screen will be displayed.

Rotate the MENU SEL control to display the
desired page.

Push the MENU SEL control.
The setting items for the selected page will be
displayed, with an arrow “
n
” marking the
currently selected item.

Rotate the MENU SEL control to move the “ n ”
mark to the desired item.

Push the MENU SEL control.
The “ n ” mark will change to a “?” mark and
begin blinking.

Rotate the MENU SEL control to change the
setting value.
When the control is rotated quickly, the values will
change quickly; when rotated slowly, the values
will change slowly.
To reset a changed value
If the CANCEL button is pressed before the
MENU SEL control is pushed, the setting will be
returned to its previous value.
To interrupt settings
Set the VF DISP switch to OFF to turn off the
menu screen display.
If the VF DISP is set back to MENU, the
viewfinder display will return to the screen being
displayed before the interruption, and setup may be
continued.

Push the MENU SEL control.
The “?” mark will change back to a “ n ” mark,
and the new setting will be saved.

To change other setting items on the same menu
page, repeat steps
4 through 7 .

To change to another page, press the CANCEL
button a number of times until the page scroll bar
is displayed at the upper right of the screen. Then
rotate the MENU SEL control to display the
desired page, and push the MENU SEL control.
The setting items for the selected page will be
displayed, with an arrow “
n ” marking the
currently selected item.
To end menu operations
Set the VF DISP switch to OFF.
