“Memory Stick Duo”
The sound breaks off.

Clean the head using the cleaning cassette (optional). (p. 103)
Cannot perform the Multi-picture
search, Title search or the Date
search.
• There is a blank section in the beginning or middle of the tape. This is
not a malfunction. (p. 46)
“---” is displayed on the screen.
• The tape you are playing was recorded without setting the date and time.
• A blank section on the tape is being played.
• The data code on a tape with a scratch or noise cannot be read.
The image on the screen remains still
for about 1 second during playback.
• When you play back the transition between two recordings, the image on
the screen remains still for about 1 second. This is not a malfunction.

Set the POWER switch to the CAMERA-MEM or PLAY/EDIT mode.

• The “100MSDCF” folder is selected. You cannot record pictures to the
“100MSDCF” folder. This folder is used for playback only.
The pictures are not played back in
the actual size.
• Pictures recorded on other devices may not appear in the actual size. This
is not a malfunction.
Image data cannot be played back.

Deactivate the USB Streaming function on your camcorder and set the
(USB) ON/OFF switch on the Handycam Station to OFF.
• Image data cannot be played back when you modify files or folders, or
edit the data on a computer (The file name flashes in that case). This is

• Pictures recorded on other devices may not appear in the actual size. This

Pictures cannot be deleted.
