USB 1-USB REC 1 transfer:

“REC” lights up in the display. Then,
transferring starts when “Don’t
Remove USB” appears in the display.
When the transfer is completed, the
access to the USB device (USB 2)
stops automatically and the USB
device (USB 1) continues playback.
To stop transferring
Press
on CHANNEL B.
To remove the USB device

on CHANNEL A and/or B.

Remove the USB device.
To change the default setting of
transfer speed (CD-DA disc only)
“HIGH SPEED” transfer may not
succeed, depending on disc status
(surface scratches, etc.). In such a case,
the system automatically changes the
transfer speed from “HIGH SPEED”
to “NORMAL SPEED” and retries to
compete transferring data properly.
However, you can change the default
setting of transfer speed as required using
the OPTIONS menu.
Note that while trasferring music in
“HIGH SPEED” mode, no sound is
output.
Use buttons on the unit to change the
default setting of transfer speed.
The default setting is “HIGH SPEED.”

Press CD/DISC to select the CD
function.

Press OPTIONS, and then turn
the search dial clockwise or
counterclockwise to select “REC
SPEED.”

Press ENTER.

Turn the search dial clockwise or
counterclockwise to select “HIGH
SPEED” or “NORMAL SPEED,” and then
press ENTER. To exit the OPTIONS
menu, press OPTIONS.
To erase audio files or folders from the
USB device
You can erase audio files or folders from
the USB device. Note that you cannot
erase audio files and folders in shuffle
play mode or program play mode.
Make sure to turn off the DJ mode before
operations.

Connect the USB device to the
(USB 2) port.

Press USB 2 (or either USB or
FUNCTION on the remote repeatedly)
to select the USB 2 function.

Select a file you want to erase.
Press
/

+/
on the remote repeatedly) to
select the audio file or folder you want
to erase.

Press ERASE.
“Track Erase ?” or “Folder Erase ?”
appears.
To cancel the erase operation, press
.
Note that when ERASE is pressed
during playback, an audio file that is
currently played back is erased.
