Selecting Channel
Options
The Channel Menu includes the following options:
To access the Channel Menu, follow these steps:

Option
Description
Favorite Channels
Lets you set up a list of your favorite channels. For
details, see “Displaying a List of Favorite Channels” on
page 42.
Cable
On
Select if you are receiving cable channels
with a CATV cable.
Off
Select if you are using an antenna.

You should run Auto Program after changing this
option.
Channel Fix
Useful when you
have a cable box
or satellite
receiver
connected
Off
Turns off Channel Fix.
2–6
“Fix” your TV’s channel setting to 2–6 and
use the cable box or satellite receiver to
change channels. Select one of these
settings if you connected the equipment to
the VHF/UHF jack.
Video 1
Use this setting if you have connected the
equipment to the A/V input jacks.
Auto Program
Automatically sets up the channel list on the TV for all
receivable channels.
Channel
Skip/Add
Allows you to customize the channel list that appears
when you use the
CH+/-
buttons.

to scroll through the channels until you
find the channel you want to skip or add. Then press
to select it.

To add or skip more channels, repeat steps 1 and 2.

to return to the Channel Setup Menu, or

MENU
to exit the Menus.
Channels that you set to
be skipped can be accessed
only with the
0-9
buttons.
