SETTING THE AREA/REGION (DSX-B700: AEP, UK only)
Before operating the unit for the first time, after
replacing the car battery, or changing the
connections, you must reset the unit.

Press and hold DSPL and CALL
for
more than 2 seconds.
Note
Resetting the unit will erase the clock setting and some
stored contents.
Setting the area/region
After resetting the unit, the area/region setting
display appears.

Press ENTER while [AREA] is displayed.
The area/region currently set appears.

Rotate the control dial to select [EUROPE] or
[RUSSIA], then press it.

Rotate the control dial to select [YES] or [NO],
then press it.
If the setting area/region is changed, the unit is
reset, then the clock is displayed.
This setting can be configured in the general setup
menu.
BLUETOOTH CONNECTION METHOD
Refer to the following procedure when perform a BLUETOOTH
connection with this unit.
This unit can connect two BLUETOOTH devices (two mobile phones,
or a mobile phone and an audio device).
Note 1:
After perform a BLUETOOTH connection, be sure to clear the
connection history by referring to “IMPORTANT NOTE OF
INITIALIZING” on page 9.
Connection procedure:
1. Press the [PUSH ENTER MENU/ VOICE] button (control
dial) to display the menu.

Press the control dial.

3. Operate the BLUETOOTH device to be paired with this unit and
detect this unit.

4. Select the model name of this unit displayed on the screen of the
BLUETOOTH device, and perform the pairing.
(During pairing, the BLUETOOTH logo ( ) in the display win-
dow of this unit is lighting state)
Note 2:
If passkey input is required on the BLUETOOTH device, input
“0000”.
Note 3:
“DEVICE 1” or “DEVICE 2” in the display window of this unit
will be changed to the paired device name after pairing is complete.
