Show/Hide Channels
Allows you to show or hide channels that
appear when you use the
CH/PROG +/–
buttons.
Press
/
to scroll through the channels
until you find the channel you want to
show or hide. Then press
to select it.

to determine if the channel will
be shown or hidden. Then press
to
select it.
Edit Analog Channel Labels
Allows you to assign labels (such as station
call letters) to channel numbers.
Press
/
to scroll through the channel
numbers. Then press
to select the
channel number that you want to assign a
label.
Press
/
to scroll through the label
characters ([A-Z], [0-9], etc.). Press
to
move to the next character. Repeat the
previous steps to add up to seven
characters to the label. When finished,
press .
Analog Channel Adjustment
Channel:
Selects a channel number.
Analog Fine Tune:
[Custom] selection
allows you to fine-tune the selected
analog channel manually if you feel
that a slight tuning adjustment may
improve picture quality. Select [Auto]
to adjust to the most appropriate
analogue channel.
Audio Filter:
Select [Low] or [High] to
improve the sound of individual
channels when distortion occurs in
mono broadcasts.
Digital Channel Tuning Mode
Select [Major Channels] to tune just the
main channels with
CH/PROG +/–
.
Select [Major & Minor Channels] to tune all
channels with
CH/PROG +/–
.
FM Radio Setup
Presets up to 30 FM radio channels that can
be received in your area.
Auto Program:
Allows you to
automatically tune and store all the
available channels.
FM Radio Presets:
Allows you to
manually tune and store each
available channel one at a time.
Note
• To enable this feature, access to FM Radio mode
by using Home (Menu) (page 16), then preset
your desired FM radio channels according to the
steps mentioned above.
Area Selection
Select the area you live in.
Password
Sets a password. Use
0-9
on the remote
control to enter a four-digit password.
Change Password
Select to change your password.
Digital Rating
Sets an age restriction for viewing. To view
any program rated for ages above the age
you specify, enter the correct password.
Analog Channel Block
Locks an individual channel from being
watched. To view a blocked channel, select
[Unblocked].
Note
• Entering the correct password for blocked
channel or external input will temporarily
deactivates the [Parental Lock] feature. To
reactivate the [Parental Lock] settings, turn off
and on the TV.

• If you lost your password, see page 40.
External Input Lock
Locks an external input from being
watched. To view a blocked external input,
select [Unblocked].
Note
• Entering the correct password for blocked
channel or external input will temporarily
deactivates the [Parental Lock] feature. To
reactivate the [Parental Lock] settings, turn off
and on the TV.
