1-2. Board Installation
General information
.
The BKMA-7030 can be inserted into any slot exept slot
No.6 of MAV-70XGI.
.
Stick the slot label supplied with the BKMA-7030 onto
the connector panel after the board installation to prevent
the incorrect insertion when the board replacing.
.
Do not open the slot to keep the air-cooled effect of
MAV-70XGI. Be sure to attach the blank panel to
vacant slot.
.
It is not necessary to adjust after board installation/
replacement.
Procedures
1.
Install the BKMA-7060 (DA-143 board) to the
BKMA-7030 (DEC-98A board) by the four screws
supplied with the BKMA-7060.

Perform this procedure when the BKMA-7060 is used.
2.
Turn off the power switches A and B of the MAV-
70XGI.
3.
Remove the two screws, and remove the blank panel
of any slot.
n
Keep the removed blank panel.
