7-1-4. Installation of HKDS-7031/7061/7071

Be sure to turn off the power switch (on the HKDS-7695/7695A) before installing or removing the plug-in
boards.
If not, it will damage the boards or cause an electric shock.

(1) Remove the front panel. (Refer to Section 2-5.)
(2) Remove the two board retainers and the board holder. (Refer to “2-6. Removal of Parts on the

Front”.)

(3) Insert the plug-in board along the board guide rails of the specified slot while keeping the eject levers

open as shown in the illustration.

(4) Push in the plug-in board and close the eject levers in the direction of the arrow

Confirm that the connector of the plug-in board is connected to the MB-850 board completely.

(5) Install the board retainers, the board holder, and the fan assemblies.

To remove the board, open the eject levers in the direction of the arrow

and pull the board.

While applying forces equally to the eject levers in the both sides, pull out the board.
