Input source
sub-menu:
Allows to set the source of incoming Time Code. To select the internal generator's
Time Code, activate the
Internal
option.
External no jam
and
Ext. jam sync
are two useful options when the Time Code
used is external (TC XLR or Aaton sockets) with this difference: If the external Time
Code flow is interrupted (cable disconnected, for ex.) the Time Code freezes if the
option
External no jam
has been selected, it gets regenerated by the internal
generator when
Ext. jam sync
has been chosen.

Output source
sub-menu:
Allows to set the source of outgoing Time Code, i.e. the Time Code present on the
TC output sockets and on the display. There are two choices: The Time Code
recorded on tape (
Tape
) or the one produced by the internal generator (
Internal
)
So that the
Record run
mode can work,
Internal
has to be selected in
the
Output source
sub-menu below.
