Now the device icon will change and you can perform global settings through Settings and
device-specific settings about the files to be played back through Customize.
If desired, change the settings according to your preferences and confirm the entry by clicking
the OK button.
This process is the same for Microsoft Windows Vista and XP. The only difference may be that
the Media Player has interfaces with different appearances.
NOTE
To play back files shared through Media Player, proceed as follows. Please note
that the Media Player version 11 or higher is required for a successful connec-
tion.
Select the menu item UPNP Server by pressing the menu button. The device will now •
begin to search for a PC with Windows Media Player sharing.
If a PC with Windows Media Player sharing is found, the available directories will appear.

Navigate to the respective folder through the buttons on the device. The following buttons
are available here:
The menu button confirms your selection •
BACK returns to the next higher directory •
The UP or DOWN button serves to navigate to the next higher or next lower menu item. •
When you have found the desired title, you can insert it into the playlist by pressing the •
menu button.
