3-12 PASSWORD SETTING
For added security, your system has BIOS password options to prohibit
unwanted individuals from making harmful changes to your BIOS.
Supervisor password
: Gives full access to view and make changes.
User password
: Allows viewing of bios setting but changes cannot be made.
If you wish to disable either of the above choices then you can hit <enter>
either on supervisor or user password.
The password option may also be used to keep unwanted parties from using
the system. If you choose “system” in the Security option under the BIOS
features Setup Menu, a password will be required to start up the system. If
you choose “setup” then a password will only be required to enter the bios
setup.
3-13 IDE HDD AUTO DETECTION
This option will automatically detect the parameters of an IDE hard disk
drive and will enter them into the Standard CMOS setup option.
3-14 EXIT SELECTING
SAVE & EXIT SETUP
To save all CMOS selections to memory and restart the system, choose (Y)es.
EXIT WITHOUT SAVING
To exit the CMOS setup and restarting the system without saving any changes
made.
