Speed and Torque Adjustment

Electric

a. The speed can be adjusted on the VFD (Variable Frequency Drive).

Note: it is not recommended to run brushes above the RPMs listed in table 1a and 1 b

•

To increase the speed, adjust the Hertz on the VFD to a higher number.

•

To decrease the speed, adjust the Hertz on the VFD to a lower number.

b. The Overload on the Motor Starter protector(s) must be set at the lowest level to allow for

operation.

c. Adjust the amps in accordance with the motor(s) name plate.
