Install Crescendo/PCI Processor
Upgrade Card
1. Remove the Crescendo card from the anti-
static package, making sure to handle the card
by the edges
(Figure 7) . Your card may differ
from what is pictured.
2. Align the Crescendo card between the inner
card guides of the case with the card directly
over the Processor Card Slot
(Figure 8) . Press
down until the card is firmly seated in the
Processor Card Slot, taking care not to wiggle
the board as you install it into the slot.
3. Package the processor card you removed earlier
from the computer into the Crescendo’s anti-
static package and store it in a safe place.
Close Computer
1. Lift the computer to its upright position and
raise the processor card retainer into place
(Figure 9) .
2. Replace the case cover onto your computer and
tighten the four security screws
(Figure 10) .
3. Return the computer to your computing area
and reconnect the power and peripheral cables
to the computer.
4. Affix the Powered by Sonnet label to the front of
your computer.
