6.5.1 Connecting the signal line
Digital outputs (XDO) are located on top of the storage system. These can be used
to control external devices. The digital signals are transmitted via the signal line (2).
We recommend connecting the signal line to a terminal strip (3). The individual
wires of the signal line coming from the terminal strip can then be distributed to
the corresponding downstream external components.
The white wire of the signal line (2) represents the earth (GND). If more than one
digital output is used, multiple lines must be connected to the earth. For this reason
we recommend installing multiple terminals which are connected via a bridge (4) to
the earth (GND).
