button. When the setting is completed, the unit switches to the first found radio station. Other channels can set by briefly pressing the
CH+/ , CH-/
buttons.
● The search stops when it detects varying signal strength – this does not always mean that a radio program is found.
● The reception capability of the radio largely depends on the place of use and the current reception conditions.
● To improve the reception of the built-in antenna, position the product in such way that the best radio reception is obtained.
● Do not place large metal objects or electrical equipment close to the device!
● If you listen to the product while charging, the speakers may occasionally pick up mains hum. This product is designed to run from battery power,
you are recommended to recharge it after use.
WIRED AUDIO INPUTS (MIC INPUT, AUX INPUT)
You have the following options to connect an external device with headphone output or audio output to the amplifier:
MIC INPUT:
Ø6.3mm jack with independent volume control (
MIC VOL
) for a wired microphone (not included)
AUX INPUT:
Ø3.5mm jack for headphones or a LINE out connection (mobile phone, tablet, computer, multimedia player…). You can use the supplied
connection cable.
● The sound quality depends on the quality of the audio signal received from by the external device and its volume settings. It is recommended to
disable tone control, and to use it only via the remote controller (EQ) of the sound box.
● If the sound box receives weak signal (low volume), it may cause extra noise, while a too large signal may cause distortion. It is recommended to
keep the volume of the source at medium level.
● To make the appropriate connection, you may need to buy a connection cable or, in some cases, an external adapter.
● For further information, see the user guide of the device you want to connect.
WIRELESS MICROPHONE
The wireless microphone included with the sound box works with 2 pcs AA (1.5V) batteries. Use durable, alkaline batteries. To replace the batteries,
unscrew the lower half of the handle and insert the batteries observing correct polarity. Set the slider on the microphone handle to
ON
position. The
volume of both wireless and wired microphones can be adjusted with the
MIC VOL
control. Echo effect is available for both microphone types:
ECHO
control. During MP3/BT playback, you can enable the microphone priority with the
MIC PRI
button.
● The centre position of the slider mutes but does not turn off the microphone.
● In open terrain, the reception range is about 50 metres.
● The current frequency is specified in the battery compartment.
● The LED on the handle lights up when the batteries are exhausted and need replacement.
● The microphone receiver antenna is built into the sound box. The positioning of the sound box may affect the reception quality and range. The
actual range depends on the environmental conditions (e.g., walls, human bodies, other electrical appliances, motion…). Do not move the
microphone in your hand as this may affect the sound quality.
● If the microphone is not used for a longer period, remove the batteries.
● Radio frequency devices operated nearby may cause abnormal operation or noise; this does not indicate a malfunction of the sound box!
● Batteries can only be replaced by adults. Remove exhausted batteries from the device without delay. If any fluids have leaked from the batteries,
clean the battery compartment with a dry cloth wearing protective gloves. Never open up, throw into fire or short circuit the batteries. Never charge
non-rechargeable batteries. Explosion hazard!
KARAOKE FUNCTION
You can use a wireless and/or wired microphone (optional) to sing along with the song you are playing. Turn on the wireless microphone and/or connect
the plug of the wired microphone to the
MIC IN
input. You can listen to the sound of the microphones along with the other signal sources at the desired
volume. Adjust the volume with the
MIC VOL
control and the microphone echo with the
ECHO
knob.
● When using the product for KARAOKE, it is recommended to turn off microphone priority (MIC PRIORITY).
● Do not place the microphone in front of or next to the speaker, as it may cause a beeping sound or feedback.
● Hold the microphone close to your mouth. Different microphones can produce different sound quality.
WIRELESS BT CONNECTION
Within a maximum range of 10 meters, the unit can be paired with other equipment communicating according to the BT protocol. After pairing, you can
listen to music played on your mobile phone, tablet, notebook or other similar device. Use the
