Before using the product for the first time, please read the instructions for use below and retain them for later reference. The original instructions
were written in the Hungarian language. This appliance may only be used by persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lacking in experience or knowledge, as well as children from the age of 8, if they are under supervision or have been given instruction concerning use of
the appliance
and they have understood the hazards associated with use.
Children should not be allowed to play with the unit.
Children may only clean or
perform user maintenance on the appliance under supervision.
After unpacking the unit, make sure it has not been damaged during transport! Keep children
away from packaging if it contains plastic bag or other hazardous component!

•
overload, and overheat
protection
•
overvoltage, and outgoing short circuit protection
•

ideal for operating mains power supplied devices, where there is only
12 Volt direct current at the users disposal; e.g.: PC, radio, TV, video equipment, lamp, electric razor, secondary battery charging in a vehicle, ship, camping, or
somewhere else.
Setup
1.
Unscrew and remove the plastic screws of red and black connectors located on the back on the device
, then fix with them the ring connection of the connection cable* with the cigarette
lighter plug. Be careful of the appropriate polarity! Fix the screws firmly!
2.
Connect the cigarette lighter plug to the vehicles cigarette lighter socket. For the correct connection push it in firmly.
3.
Connect the mains device.
4.
Turn on the inverter („ON” position).
5.
Turn on the mains
device
wished to be operated.
6.
After use the mains device needs to be shut down first, after that the inverter (OFF position). Remove the connection cables!
*We supply two types of connection cables together with SAI 60USB and SAI 100USB devices. When there is power demand over 300 Watt, do not use the cable which can be
connected to the cigarette lighter socket, but it is recommended to connect the inverter directly to the battery with the clips. Take care of the prescribed polarity and safe, proper contact!
The appliance may only be operated with the enclosed connection cable. It is forbidden to remake or extend it!
If the voltage of the vehichle decreases significantly during use, a warning sound can be heard.
At this point remove the device connected to the voltage converter, and then turn off the
converter too. Disconnect the 12 Volt connection, then start the vehicles engine to charge the
accumulator
. If despite the sound warning the device used further, then in order to protect
the
accumulator
the device shuts down after a short while. To prevent the excessive depletion of the
accumulator
it is advised to run the engine for 10-20 minutes after every 2-3 hour of
inverter usage. Before turning on the engine turn off the operated device, and disconnect the inverter from the vehicle!
Remarks:
Some devices take much more power than normal upon turning on. It can happen that for proper operation the device must be turned on and off a few times. This is typical when for e.g.:
TVs with bigger power consumption are operated from an inverter.
For motorized devices (e.g.: compressor, drill, ventilator
, air conditioner
…) the inverters output should be three times the devices output for stable operation. With this small output
inverter it is not advised to operate motorized devices.
The converter automatically shuts down, if the operated device(s) output surpasses the inverters capacity. The same happens in
case of overheating.
The device has further safety
protection for the case of reverse polarity accumulator connection, or outgoing short circuits.
Cable extension
Due to increasing voltage fall in power, it is not recommended to extend the 12 Volt cable.
Instead of that a cable extender as long as 30 m can be used to transport the supply voltage from
the inverter to the device wished to be operated. Longer cable than this can lead to performance loss.
Checking the
level
of the mains voltage
The form of the mains voltage produced by the inverter is a modified sinus wave. Exact measurement result can only be achieved with an accredited RMS Voltage measurer. Other types
of measuring devices can measure as much as 20-30 Volt less than reality.
Safety circuits
The device is equipped with multiple protections. In case of activation the mains voltage is terminated. After this immediately:
1.
Turn off the operated device.
2.
Turn off the inverter.
3.
Unplug
the connectors.
4.
Check the operated mains devices output, and the correct connection.
5.
After troubleshooting
, use the device again. If necessary contact a specialist.
In case of prolonged, continuous usage, it is possible for the network output to disconnect, even if the secondary battery is properly charged. The cause can be overheating. After this
immediately:
1.
Turn off the operated device.
2.
Turn off the inverter.
3.
Wait for it to cool down.
4.
Later turn it back on.
In case of short circuit or reverse polarity connection the melting fuse interrupts the circuit. In this case contact a specialist! Only the same type of fuse can be placed in it as the original!
The fuse is not user replaceable!
Maintenance
Occasionally check that the connectors have stable contact, if necessary clean them. The stains can be removed from the surface of the
device by a soft and dry cloth.
