The TaHoma Pad io is made up of four components:
The
TaHoma Pad io
, which allows you to control all the io-homecontrol
®
components in your
home. This product is sold by a professional.
A
mains adapter
, which allows you to connect the TaHoma Pad io to the mains. This mains
adapter can also be used to recharge the device.
A
table mount
on which you can place the TaHoma Pad io and connect it to the power supply.
The TaHoma Pad io is recharged when it is placed on this mount with the plug connected to the
mains power supply.
A
USB cable
, which allows you to update the TaHoma Pad io using a computer connected to
the Internet.

The system controls motors and automated devices

2.1. Safety and liability
Before installing and using this product, please read this manual carefully.
This Somfy product must be installed by a professional motorisation and home automation installer
for whom this guide is intended.
Moreover, installers must comply with the standards and legislation in force in the country where the
product is installed, and inform their customers of the operating and maintenance conditions for the
product.

In compliance with standard EN 12453 on safety in use of power operated doors and gates, if
using the TaHoma Pad io to control an automated garage door or gate not visible to the user, it
is obligatory for a photo-electric cell type security device to be installed on this automated system. If
these instructions are not complied with, SOMFY does not accept any liability for any damage that
may be caused.
It is prohibited to use the TaHoma Pad io to control an alarm device.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Use only the mains adapter and accessories supplied by Somfy.
Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by a non-compliant battery. To replace the battery, please
contact an installer.
Please separate storage cells and batteries from other types of waste and recycle them via
your local collection facility.
To avoid damaging the product:
1) Avoid impacts!
2) Do not drop!
3) Do not spill liquid on the product or immerse in liquid.
4) Do not use abrasive products or solvents to clean the
product. Its surface can be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth.
