PROBLEM

POSSIBLE CAUSE

POSSIBLE SOLUTION

The air humidifier 

does not work.

Power plug not connected. 

ON/OFF button not 

pressed.
Water tank empty.

Connect power plug to power 

outlet.
Press ON/OFF button. 

Fill water into the tank. To 

restart the air humidifier after 

water has been refilled, always 

switch the appliance off with 

the ON / OFF button, let the 

heater unit cool down, then 

restart the appliance with the 

ON / OFF  button.

Unpleasant smell. Appliance dirty. 

 

 

 

Water dirty or not fresh.

Clean appliance as described in 

„Cleaning and maintenance“. 

Then, remove cover and let the 

opened tank stand in a cool,  

dark place for approx. 24 hours.
Clean water tank, fill fresh tap 

water.

Appliance is 

noisy.

Cover and / or steam duct 

incorrectly positioned.
Not enough water in tank.
Appliance unevenly placed. 

Appliance dirty.

Properly place cover and/or 

steam duct on base.
