C COFFEE EXTRACTION BUTTON “MANUAL MODE”
When this button is steadily lighting up blue the correct temperature for the brewing
process is reached. Use this button to specifically adjust how much coffee you want
to brew. As soon as the desired amount has been brewed press the button again to
stop the brewing process.
NOTES:
While using the manual mode only the ON/OFF button and the “manual mode”
button will be lit blue.
In both automatic and manual mode the machine will pump a bit of water into the
portafilter at the start of the brewing process to soak the coffee. After a short break
the pump will work steadily.
D STEAM BUTTON (ALSO FOR HOT WATER FUNCTION)
●
To produce steam for frothy milk or heat up a beverage press this button. The
button will blink while the machine is heating up. The steam mode is ready as
soon as the button is steadily lighting blue.
●
If you fully turn the steam / hot water control counterclockwise it will start pouring
out steam through the steam / hot water outlet. If turned off again, it will stop.
NOTE:
While the steam function is active only the ON/OFF button lights up blue and
the steam mode button is blinking (while heating up) or steadily lights blue (after
the preheating is finished).
●
As long as the steam function is active the buttons for manual and automatic
brewing mode
will not be lit up and will only light up and be ready to use
again after you press the steam mode button again to turn off the steam function.
NOTE:
The machine will be too hot to brew coffee immediately after using the steam
function. This is being indicated by the coffee mode buttons blinking blue after
changing back to the brewing function. Wait until the machine has cooled down and
the coffee buttons are lighting steadily again, otherwise the coffee will taste slightly
burnt. The cooldown process can be sped up by letting out some water through the
portafilter (with inserted filter but without ground coffee).
s
THE BUTTONS AND THEIR

up blue for one second while the machine is pumping water. Afterwards the

chine is preheating. When the correct temperature for brewing coffee is reached
these buttons will also constantly light up blue. The machine is now ready for use.
●
Pressing the ON/OFF button is accompanied by a signal tone.
