Blacklight links provide

audio channel per fibre cable thereby reducing the number of cable runs required. Blacklight

equipped RIOs are provided with two redundant Blacklight ports to allow for expanded channel capacity and provide fibre
redundancy. 

To interface a Blacklight equipped RIO the Blackrock processor must also be specified with a Blacklight interface card in place
of one of the standard 4-port MADI interface cards.
