2.2 Safety warnings
The battery is the heart of your
e-Solex.
For proper maintenance and to ensure an optimal
lifespan, it is very important to be familiar with how
it operates and to follow the guidelines below.
Please read these instructions carefully.
Your
e-Solex
is equipped with a Lithium-Polymer
battery without memory effect.
This type of battery currently performs the best in
terms of energetic output. This innovative techno-
logy is also used for mobile phone, laptop and digi-
tal camera batteries.

Your e-Solex's battery is an electric part made of chemical components. For your
safety, follow the rules below:
- Always keep the battery away from children, whether it's recharging or
just being stored.
- Handle with caution.
- Do not try to take the battery's case apart.
- Do not pierce, hit, drag or wet it.
- Do not handle the battery with wet hands.
- Do not expose the battery to high temperatures.
- The charger and the battery must always be kept away from any sources
of heat or humidity.
- Never park your e-Solex in full sunlight when it's hot.
- Never place the charger on top of the battery when it's recharging.
- Never connect, bring together or touch the metal contact points located
on the base of the battery.
- Never let the battery recharge unattended.
- Never sleep near a battery that is recharging.
