3.6 IP54
The SO2 is splash-proof according to IP54 but not waterproof. You may therefore use the SO2 in light rain and drive
through puddles on the ground. You must not immerse the SO2 in water or expose it to heavy rain, otherwise the
electronics may be damaged. Further information about the scope of protection according to IP 54 can be found on the
Internet.
4. Driving instructions
4.1 Operation
First, turn on your SO2 by pressing and holding the start button for 2 seconds. You can accelerate with the SO2 by pushing
your foot against the ground with one leg and accelerating the device (as with a conventional scooter). Alternatively, you
can accelerate by operating the gas lever on the right side of the handlebar.
The left brake lever operates the rear brake. Shift your body weight to the rear to compensate for the braking effect of the
engine brake. This allows safe and controlled braking. In addition, you can operate the brake lever on the right side to
activate the front brake. Always be careful when using the front brake. When using the front brake, it is advisable to apply
the rear brake at the same time to achieve even braking.
