Functions by Device Type
Different keys have different meanings depending upon the type
of device you are controlling. The best way to become familiar
with your remote control is to experiment, but here are some
hints to guide you.
Television / Set Top Boxes
Turn On/Off : To turn the TV on or off, press the TV device but-
ton and press the Power button.
Input : If you have multiple devices, press the Input button to
switch between what input is showing on your TV.
Aspect Ratio : To switch between different resolutions or to a
different aspect ratio, press the Aspect button.
Sub-Channels : Some TV’s support alternative HiDef channels
for over the air broadcasts. To reach these channels, enter
the main channel number, press the Dash button and
enter the sub-channel. For example to select the 2nd sub-
channel of channel 11 you would enter 11-2.
