When pressing bearings in, use a soft wooden
dowel and only apply pressure to the outer race
of the bearings
DRIve PUlley RePlaceMent
the drive pulleys may be replaced to change
between diamond mode and flail mode.
For flail mode, use a 28-tooth pulley on the
engine shaft and a 56-tooth pulley on the drum
shaft with a 1064 mm belt. the engine should be
run at 2500 RPM.
For diamond mode, use a 48-tooth pulley on the
engine shaft and a 48-tooth pulley on the drum
shaft with a 1120 mm belt. the engine should be
run at 3200 RPM.
Before attempting to change Drive Pulleys,
go back and follow the instructions on how to
remove and replace the Belt cover, Drive Belt,
and Drive Pulleys from the machine.
