How to Connect to the RJ-45 Port

Peal-off the adhesive backing on the rubber RJ-45 port seal and stick it on the
end of the plastic RJ-45 plug cover.
3.
Cut the Ethernet cable to the required length, and then feed the cable end
through the RJ-45 port waterproof cover parts in this order:
■
Screw-on cable clamp
■
Outer screw-on cover
■
Inner rubber cable seal
■
Inner plastic RJ-45 plug cover (with rubber seal attached)
4.
Crimp a new RJ-45 connector (not supplied) on the end of the Ethernet cable.
5.
Push the inner rubber cable seal into the clamp end of the plastic RJ-45 plug
cover.
6.
Connect the RJ-45 plug to the AP’s RJ-45 port.
7.
Push the inner plastic RJ-45 plug cover over the RJ-45 plug, and then secure it
to the AP using the outer screw-on cover. Tighten the outer screw-on cover to
ensure protection against moisture.
8.
Screw the inner rubber cable seal onto the inner plastic RJ-45 plug cover.
Tighten the seal to ensure protection against moisture.
