3.2 Installation
3.2.1 Environment
Do not use or store the unit in the following environment. The unit might result
in failure in the worse case as well as operate improperly.
Condition with steam, salt water and oil splashing
Place contaminated with dust and powdery material
Place exposed to corrosive or flammable gases or solvents
Place where it will be subjected to direct sun light or radiation
Place whose temperature is outside that of the value specified for ambient.
Place exposed to fast temperature change
Place generating strong electromagnetic noise
(
incl. strong electrical field,
strong magnetic field, place generating surge voltage
)
Place generating static electricity and condition with static electricity
discharged to the unit
Place generating strong high frequency radiation (Microwaves)
Place with altitude over 1000m
Conditions where the unit is subjected to vibrations or impact
Condition where the unit is subjected to load or forces so much as to
deform the unit.
Place without sufficient space available for maitenance.
Place where the air vents on the unit are blocked or covered.
A location outside of a building.
A place such as a clean room where the generation of dust and heat from
equipment will be a problem
Do not set up the unit in the place possibly exposed to leakage of
flammable gas. Should the gas leakage stay around the unit, the
unit might cause a fire.
Do not use the unit outdoor. If the unit subjected to rain or water
splash it might cause electrical shock, fire or failure.
Keep the unit horizontal to rigid and flat floor which can resist the
weight of the unit, and take a measure to prevent the tip of the unit.
Improper setting up might cause water leakage from, or tip and
drop of the unit and injury of the operator.
Keep the ambient temperature of the unit between 5 to 40
o
C. The
operation below 5
o
C might cause the compressor failure, and the
operation above 40
o
C might lose the radiation effect of the
condenser, start safety device and result in stop of the unit.
