The SMART GoWire auto-launch cable is included 
with both SMART collaboration systems - the 
SMART Board 885ix interactive whiteboard system 
and the SMART Board 8070i interactive display. 
 

SmArt meeting Pro  
software embedded

SMART Meeting Pro software is embedded in 
a USB drive inside the SMART GoWire cable. 
Write in digital ink over standard office software 
applications and save notes in a variety of ways. 
Write and save whiteboard notes in digital ink. 
Write notes over virtually any application, capture 
them as a screenshot and save them in a PDF or 
PPT file. Mark up files in common applications, 
such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio 
and OneNote, as well as Adobe Acrobat Pro, and 
SMART Meeting Pro will insert and save your notes 
in the original file. Distribute the marked-up files to 
your team instantly via email. 

Easy to use

SMART Meeting Pro software’s intuitive interface is 
easy to learn for first-time or occasional users. 

Guest laptop support

The SMART GoWire cable enables you to connect 
any laptop to your SMART Board interactive 
whiteboard or interactive display. No dedicated 
meeting room computer or software installation 
is required. And because guests have no access to 
your network when they connect using the SMART 
GoWire cable, there’s no security risk.

Auto launch

The SMART GoWire cable automatically launches 
SMART Meeting Pro software when connected to 
any guest laptop, and no software remains when 
the laptop is disconnected. 

No installation required

The SMART GoWire cable eliminates the need 
to download and install software to connect a 
laptop to a SMART Board interactive whiteboard, 
SMART Board interactive display or SMART Podium 
interactive pen display. 

SmArt product integration

The SMART GoWire cable is compatible with all 
SMART Board interactive whiteboards, SMART 
Board interactive displays and SMART Podium 
interactive pen displays.
