NOTE

Use an 800 series control cable (Part No. SBX8-CTRL) to convert the 4-pin connector to a DB9F

RS-232 connector for use with a third-party room control system. You can purchase an SBX8

series control cable from your local SMART reseller.

Using the SMART GoWire cable

The SMART GoWire cable is a USB to USB connection that enables you to use SMART Meeting Pro

PE software on computers that don’t have the software installed.

NOTES

A SMART GoWire cable is included with SMART Board-SMP interactive whiteboard systems.

If you’re using a computer that doesn’t have the software installed, you can connect the computer to

the interactive whiteboard system using the SMART GoWire cable.

The SMART Board icon

appears in the notification area on your computer. Click the icon to

access additional tools and to configure your hardware and software settings.

IMPORTANT

Ensure that Autoplay is enabled on your computer before you connect the auto-launch cable. Go to

smarttech.com/support
