This chapter provides information on the tasks you must perform the first time you use your
interactive whiteboard. It explains how to use the Configuration settings menu to access and change
settings for your interactive whiteboard system components, the web browser and SMART Meeting
Pro application. It also provides information on calibrating and orienting your interactive whiteboard.

I M P O R T A N T
Review and configure the settings for your interactive whiteboard system after you install it and
before you use the interactive whiteboard for the first time.
Configuration password
When the interactive whiteboard system is started for the first time, the administrator or installer is
asked to set a password with the following restrictions:

The password must be a least six characters
l
The password must contain characters from three of the following four categories:
o
Uppercase letters (A–Z)
o
Lowercase letters (a–z)
o
Numbers (0–9)
o
Symbols (!,$,#,%,etc.)
