Configuration settings menu
Tabs Description
General Change the default mode for the SMART Meeting Pro application and select the
default file format for saved files. Change your power settings, for instance, the
amount of time you want your system to remain idle before it enters sleep mode.
Tools
Change the default orientation and calibration settings. Enable or disable mouse
and gesture settings including mouse assist, multi-touch and single-touch gesture,
touch recognition and pop-up messages.

I M P O R T A N T
The first time you connect your SMART Board interactive whiteboard, you must
calibrate and orient it. For more information, see
Calibrating your interactive
whiteboard on page 15 and Orienting your interactive whiteboard on page 15.
Network
Select or clear the RJ45 checkbox to enable or disable networking on your system
and change your network settings including IP address and DNS service
information. The
SMTP server name is required to use the email (FROM:) address
that you provide in your Email address field.

You must complete this section to e-mail out files created in Whiteboard mode.
Network
resources
Map network drives and configure network printers through network resources.

N O T E
The Username is required and follows the format domainName\username .You
can map only one network at a time.

details.

I M P O R T A N T
The default meeting name is Conference . When you create a meeting, always
change the default meeting name.
Web browser Select or clear the Enable web browser checkbox to enable or disable your web
browser settings. You can enable or disable the browser, the Adobe flash plugin
and proxying, set bookmarks and set up to four home pages.
Appliance

Enable, disable or rename your VGA2, S-Video, Composite and HDMI inputs.
