ATEX Directive 2014/34//EU - 

"Equipment for explosive atmospheres” 

The  EC-Type  Examination  Certificate  is  released  by  DNV  GL  Presafe  AS  (CE2460)  and  DEKRA  Testing  and 
Certification GmbH (CE0158). 
Designated certification body that monitors manufacturing and released QAN (Quality Assurance Notification) and 
QAR (Quality Assessment Report) is Nemko AS (CE0470). 
 

LVD Directive 2014/35/EU 

– "Low Voltage” 

According  the  LVD  directive  Annex  II,  electrical  equipment  for  use  in  an  explosive  atmosphere  is  outside  the 
scope of this directive. 
According  to IEC  standard:  IEC 61010-1  Safety  requirements  for  electrical  equipment  for measurement,  control, 
and laboratory use - Part 1: General requirements. 
 

PED Directive 2014/68/EU - 

"Pressure Equipment” 

This product is in compliance with Article 4 paragraph 3 of the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU and was 
designed and manufactured in accordance with the sound engineering practice. This equipment cannot bear the 
CE marking related to PED compliance. However, the product bears the CE marking to indicate compliance with 
other applicable European Community Directives. 
 

ROHS  Directive  2011/65/EU  - 

“Restriction  of  the  use  of  certain  hazardous  substances  in  electrical  and 

electronic equipment” 

For the evaluation of the products the following standards were consulted: EN 50581. 
 

EMC Directive 2014/30/EU - 

"Electromagnetic Compatibility” 

For  products  evaluation,  the  standard  IEC  61326-1  were  consulted  and  to  comply  with  the  EMC  directive  the 
installation must follow these special conditions: 
Use shielded, twisted-pair cable for powering the instrument and signal wiring. 
Keep the shield insulated at the instrument side, connecting the other one to the ground.
