Vented Full Face Mask with Headgear
Rx ONLY MADE IN U.S.A.
DOES NOT CONTAIN NATURAL RUBBER LATEX
The Sleepnet Corporation Mojo® Full Face Mask is intended to be used with positive airway pressure devices, such as CPAP or bi-level, operating at or above 3 cm
H
2
O for the treatment of adults.
GENERAL INFORMATION - WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS
CAUTION:
U.S. Federal Law restricts this device for sale by or on the order of a physician.
CAUTION:
Do not expose the
Mojo
®
Full Face Mask to temperatures above 122°F (50°C).
CAUTION:
This mask is intended for single patient use only. It may be cleaned and used repeatedly on the same person, but must not be used on multiple persons.
Do not sterilize or disinfect.
WARNING:
Do not block or try to seal the vent holes or non-rebreathing valve.
WARNING:
At low CPAP pressures, the flow through the exhalation ports may be inadequate to clear all exhaled gas from the tubing. Some rebreathing may occur.
WARNING:
Do not use the
Mojo
®
Full Face Mask with baseline pressure less than 3 cm H
2
O.
WARNING:
This mask should be used with the positive airway pressure device recommended by the manufacturer or by your physician or respiratory therapist.
The mask should not be used unless the positive airway pressure device is turned on and operating properly. The mask’s vent holes should never be blocked. The vent
holes allow a continuous flow of air out of the mask. When the positive airway pressure device is turned on and functioning properly, new air from the device flushes
the exhaled air out through the mask’s vent holes. When the positive airway pressure device is not operating, exhaled air may be rebreathed. Rebreathing of exhaled
air can, in some circumstances, lead to suffocation. This warning applies to most models of CPAP machines and masks.
WARNING:
If oxygen is used with this CPAP mask, the oxygen flow must be turned off when the CPAP machine is not operating. Explanation of the warning: When
the CPAP device is not in operation, and the oxygen flow is left on, oxygen delivered into the ventilator tubing may accumulate within the CPAP machine enclosure.
Oxygen accumulated in the CPAP machine enclosure will create a risk of fire.
WARNING:
No smoking or open flames such as candles may be used when oxygen is in use.
WARNING:
Consult manufacturer for proper O
2
enrichment tubing. At a fixed rate of supplemental oxygen flow, the inhaled oxygen concentration will vary,
depending on the pressure settings, patient breathing pattern, mask selection, and the leak rate.
WARNING:
To minimize the risk of vomiting during sleep, avoid eating or drinking for three (3) hours before using the mask.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use this product if you are experiencing nausea, vomiting, taking a prescription drug that may cause vomiting, or if you are unable to remove the mask on your
own.
GENERAL INFORMATION
This mask has a non-transferable three month limited warranty for manufacturer’s defects from the date of purchase by the initial consumer. If a mask used under
normal conditions should fail, Sleepnet will replace the mask or its components. For additional information about the Sleepnet Warranty, please visit http://www.
sleepnetmasks.com/products/our-promise.cfm.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE - SINGLE PATIENT USE
Cleaning is recommended on a daily basis. Wash the mask and components in warm water using a mild detergent. Rinse the mask thoroughly after washing. Visually
verify that the vent holes are clear and allow the mask to air dry. Washing your face prior to fitting the mask will remove excess facial oils and help extend the life of
the mask.
NOTE:
Inspect mask and valve prior to each use. Replace the mask if parts are damaged or gel is exposed due to tear or punctures.
NOTE:
The gel cushion, although silky to touch, will not tear, leak or detach from the mask under normal use and following recommended cleaning
and maintenance protocols. However, the gel cushion is not indestructible. It will tear, cut and rip if subjected to mishandling or abuse. Do not clean in a
dishwashing machine. The warranty does not cover these types of product failures. Therefore, please handle your new
Mojo
®
Full Face Mask with care.

USER INSTRUCTIONS FOR
MOJO
®
HEADGEAR
1. Unhook the right or left magnetic clip from the mask.
2. Place the mask and headgear assembly on head with blue fabric facing outward. Hook the magnetic clip in place.
3. Adjust upper and lower headgear straps; unhook the Velcro
®
tabs and pull forward to center mask over face, and adjust strap tension and length. Affix tabs.
NOTE:
The mask should rest comfortably against the face and still provide an effective air seal. Straps should be adjusted to stabilize mask; pulling the
straps too tight can cause skin irritation. The mask should not constrict your nose or mouth; you should be able to breathe freely and comfortably. If the
mask and headgear are adjusted correctly and a problem persists, contact your healthcare professional.
4. Attach swivel adapter to device tubing (CPAP, bi-level, ventilator); turn device on and verify airflow through mask.
5. Gently bend pliable ring embedded inside mask shell to change mask shape, create a comfortable fit, and reduce leaks.
6. Rotate the tensioning screw to eliminate leaks at the bridge of the nose. Do not attempt to decrease bridge leaks by over-tightening the upper strap.
QUICK RELEASE OF MASK AND HEADGEAR
7. Grasp lower strap and lift away from face. Remove mask and headgear assembly.
