conditions, the pilot must actively exit the spiral by shifting weight to the outside of the
curve and applying more brake to the outer side of the curve.
WARNING:
STEERING PRESSURE IS A LITTLE HIGHER THAN DURING NORMAL FLIGHT!
B-LINE STALL:
The B-Stall demands more strength with the 3-linesystem than with a 4-line system.
The glider dives further back and shoots considerably farther forward at the wrong mo-
ment. We recommend that you avoid the B-stall as an aid to descending, since it will
eventually lead to wear and tear of materials.
BIG EARS:
For big ears, grab the outer A risers with
your flat hand on the spot marked with the
skywalk A (thumb has to look downwards)
and turn your hands slowly symmetrical-
ly forwards. The wing remains steady and
the manoeuver can be hold easily.
CAUTION
DUE TO THE TWO MAIN LINE CONCEPT (2 A MAIN LINES PER SIDE) AND THE
RESULTING POSSIBILITY TO PULL VERY BIG EARS WITH ONLY ONE MAIN LINE,
DO NOT GRAB THE (AII) LINES.
Very big ears increase the angle of attack and the drag, whereby you are very close to
the stall point. When making big ears, we recommend to use the speed system in or-
der to increase sink and minimize the risk of parachutal stall.
