2.1 Available Discs

The Food Grater is a bench top machine developed to grate 

or shred cheese or dried coconut, being also able to process 

all kinds of vegetables, keeping their nutritious properties, 

and also avoid wasting.

In table 02, the available blades and their cutting dimensions 

and codes are indicated. 

3. INSTALLATION AND PRE-OPERATION

3.1 Positioning

Your appliance must be positioned and leveled on a dry and 

firm surface with a preferable height of 850 mm.                 

3.2 Electrical Installation

The feeding cable has 3 pins, and the central pin is for 

grounding. It is mandatory that the 3 pins are turned on 

before turning on the appliance.

3.3 Equipotencial terminal

The Picture presented below indicates the external 

equipotential terminal.

It  must  be  used  to  guarantee  that  there  is  no  potential 

difference between different equipment connected to the 

power grid, diminishing the risk of electric shocks.

The distinct equipment must be turned on one to the other 

by their own equipotential terminals

3.4 Safety system

For the safety of the operator, this appliance has 3 devices 

that are capable of turning off the machine and preventing 

accidents.

  The  second  device  interrupts  the  operation  of  the 

machine  when  the  pushing  bottom  is  on,  opening  the 

feeding  nozzle.  When  the  pushing  bottom  returns  to  its 

position, the machine starts automatically to work.

c -

 The third device shuts down the machine’s motor in the 

event of overheating. Wait a few minutes until the machine 

cools down and turn it on again by pressing the ON Switch.

3.5 Replacement of the discs

To assemble and change the blades, follow the steps 

informed below:
Step 1: Begin by choosing the correct blade for the work you 

want to do, as per Table N°2;

Step 2: Loosen up the handle N°01 (Pic. 03) spinning it anti-

clock wise;        

Step 3: Remove the feeding mouth N°02 (Pic. 03);

Step 4: Fit the chosen blade at the base of the disc. Make 

sure it fits perfectly;

Step 5: Place the entire mouth set and tighten it up, spinning 

the handle clock wise;

4. OPERATION

Never operate this appliance when close to the border 

of the work surface.

Check

 if the appliance is firm to the working area.

• 

Before using the appliance, it is necessary to wash all 

the components that have contact with the product 

that will be processed with water and neutral soap.

Turning on the Appliance

Before turning on the equipment, check the following 

procedures:
- Check if the feeding mouth is closed and correctly locked;

- Check if the pusher is correctly positioned inside the nozzle
