Troubleshooting frequency converter

Over current on the output
of the frequency converter.
Power consumption of the
motor too high.
The frequency converter can not be reset immediately.
A time delay is built in, see section Resetting errors.

Motor thermal overload (I2t). Appears after delivering > 100 % of the value in set-
tings for a period of time to prevent damage to the mo-
tor.
O-volt 6
Over voltage on DC bus. Check that the supply voltage is within the allowed tol-
erance.
U-volt

Under voltage on DC bus. Supply voltage is too low. The error occurs if the supply
to the frequency converter is interrupted. If the error oc-
curs during operation, check the supply voltage and all
components in the supply.

Over temperature on the
heat sink. The motor controller is too hot. Check that the ambient
temperature and distance requirements follow the
specification.

Under temperature. The temperature of the frequency converter is below
the minimum limit, the temperature must be increased.

Ripple voltage too high. Measure the supply phases.

Phase error. Measure the supply phases.
