Trunk grille
The accessories are intended for professional fitting. ŠKODA AUTO recommends having the
assembly done by its contractors.
The trunk grille kit includes (Fig. 1)

Note
If the riveting nuts get lost, they can be ordered additionally from the genuine ŠKODA
spare parts catalogue under Part No. 5L6 071 754.
List of special tooling
Preparation for drilling holes to the roof panel between the C-pillar and the D-pillar of the
vehicle
:
- MTX 9-193/B.
Power drill of dia. 25 mm (for drilling holes in the trunk side lining panels).
Preparation for riveting of riveting nuts (B) (in the holes in the roof sideplate under the roof
panel and in the holes of the bodywork sheet under the trunk lining panel):
- MTX 9-193/A, spanner OK 21 , wrench no. 10.

Preparation for screwing on spacers (C, E):
- Screw M8 x 50, nut M8 with washer, spanner OK 13.
Upholstery pin, vacuum cleaner.
Important instructions for fitting
Remove the trunk cover shutter from the vehicle and tilt the backrests of the
back seats.
Mount the trunk grille as shown in the pictures in the manual (spots for placing
the mounting points see -arrows- Fig. 2).
Perform all the instructions of the trunk grille fitting on both sides of the car in
the same way.
