DRIVE SYSTEM

Belt Guard Removal and
Installation



WARNING

Never operate engine:
– without shields and belt guard

securely installed

– with hood opened or removed.
Never attempt to make adjust-
ments to moving parts while en-
gine is running.

Skandic LT/LT E

Remove tether cord cap.

Open hood. Pull out clip, then
open pin retainer. Remove belt
guard.

– Open hood. Remove both retaining

pins, then belt guard.

– Loosen collar screw on air silencer

grommet.

– Disconnect engine vent hose from

air silencer.

– Disconnect air temperature sensor.
– Unhook latch from air silencer. Re-

move air silencer.
