Grease fitting caps and tags TLAC 50
Instructions for use
The grease fitting caps and tags are designed to keep the grease fitting clean. They also have a panel where a label can be
affixed to give important information to the lubrication technician.
1. Printing Labels
• Labels can be easily printed by using the SKF Lubrication Planner

• Only print the labels with a laser printer. (colour or black and white)
• Consult the printer instructions for use about settings for labels
• Print only once on a sheet
• It is strongly advised to print a white sheet before printing the final sticker sheet. This helps ensure that the layout
and printer settings are correctly configured
• When printing, use manual feed insert, if applicable, and only 1 sheet at the time
• The printer settings should be set to “labels” or “heavy paper”. This is especially important for colour laser printers
2. Sticking labels on the grease fitting caps
• Select the colour of grease fitting cap you want to use for every specific point. Five different colours are available.
• The surface should be clean and grease/oil free
3. Attach the labels to the grease fittings
• For the most secure fixation, it is recommended to put the label on the thread under the hexagonal of the grease
fitting
Alternatively the label can be placed over the grease fitting head. The label is suitable for G/R

• When fitting the labels, ensure that no contaminants enter the bearing housing
• Labels can be used in environments with ambient temperatures between -20 °C and 80 °C (-4 °F and 176 °F)
