The second tab provides options for the e-mail alert feature:

1. Within the given timespan, from any source (e.g. an acceleration sensor) only the event that
first occurs will be sent to all registered users via e-mail. The receipients will not be notified
of the following events. This is done to avoid the receipient's mailboxes from overflowing
with event notifications. This timespan may be configured for each MTx switching output
seperately.
2. Provide necessary information about the e-mail server the MTx server shall use. At least
the SMTP server and the sender e-mail address are required. If authentication is required
to use the given account, a valid username and password have to be entered as well. If SSL
is required for your SMTP connection, activate the SSL checkbox and choose the Security
protocol and the SSL port. SSL can only be activated if the authentification option is turned
on.To test the configuration, a test e-mail may be sent to any receipient.

Some providers, like gmx or Google Mail, may not be reachable from within the SKF net-
work due to closed TCP ports.
